Get Up and Running Fast

Step-by-step guides for every feature — free and Pro.

01

Installing Gravity Pipeline

Download from WordPress.org or GitHub. Install via Plugins → Add New → Upload. Activate and ensure Gravity Forms is active.

1. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
2. Upload the gravity-pipeline.zip file
3. Click Activate Plugin
4. Navigate to Forms → Pipeline to verify install
02

Creating Your First Board

Each Gravity Form feed becomes its own pipeline board. Set up a feed to enable the Kanban view for that form.

1. Go to your form in Forms → [Your Form]
2. Click Settings → Gravity Pipeline
3. Click Add New Feed
4. Map your fields (Title, Assignee, Date)
5. Save — your board appears under Forms → Pipeline
03

Field Mapping

Map Gravity Forms fields to card properties so the right data shows on each Kanban card.

1. In the feed editor, find the Field Mapping section
2. Map Card Title → e.g. "Name" field
3. Map Assignee → e.g. "Sales Rep" field
4. Map Due Date → any date field
5. Save feed — cards will now show the mapped data
04

Using the Kanban Board

Navigate to Forms → Pipeline to open the board. Drag cards between columns to update status.

1. Go to Forms → Pipeline in WP admin
2. Select your board from the dropdown
3. Drag a card to a new column to update its status
4. Click a card to view the full entry details
01

Installing Gravity Pipeline Pro

Pro requires the free version to be active. Upload the Pro plugin and enter your license key to activate.

1. Ensure Gravity Pipeline (free) is installed & active
2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
3. Upload gravity-pipeline-pro.zip (from your email)
4. Activate and go to GF Settings → Gravity Pipeline
5. Paste your license key → click Save & Activate
02

Setting Up Role-Based Access

Control who sees which cards based on assignment and WP user role. Standard users see their own cards; managers can see their team.

1. Go to GF Settings → Gravity Pipeline → Access Control
2. Set which WP roles map to Standard User vs Manager
3. On each feed, ensure Assignee field is mapped
4. Standard users will only see entries assigned to them or their group
5. Managers with "team view" enabled see all users in their groups
03

Group Assignments

Create groups (e.g. "Sales Team") and assign entries to a group instead of a single user.

1. Go to GF Settings → Gravity Pipeline → Groups
2. Create a new group and add WP users to it
3. In the feed editor, map Group to a form field or set a default
4. On the board, use the Group dropdown on a card to reassign
04

Triggering GF Notifications

Fire any Gravity Forms notification when a card status changes or is reassigned — no webhooks or custom code needed.

1. In your form, set up a GF Notification (Forms → Notifications)
2. In the Pipeline feed, go to Notification Triggers
3. Select the notification and the event that should fire it (e.g. "Moved to Closed")
4. Save — notifications fire automatically on matching status changes
05

License Management

View and manage your active license activations from your account on goat-getter.com.

2. Go to My Licenses to see all active site activations
3. Click Deactivate next to a site to free up a license slot
4. Your subscription renews automatically — manage billing under My Subscriptions

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Gravity Pipeline works with Gravity Forms 2.5 and above, including the latest versions. You'll need at least one active form with entries to get started.

The Free version gives you the full Kanban board, drag & drop, field mapping, and multi-board support — completely free forever on WordPress.org. Pro adds team features: role-based access control, group assignments, manager dashboards, GF notification triggers, and automatic plugin updates via license.

Yes — each plan includes a site limit: Starter (1 site), Agency (3 sites), Studio (10 sites). You can deactivate a site from your account dashboard at goat-getter.com/my-account to free up a slot and move the license to a new site.

Pro plans are recurring subscriptions billed monthly or annually through goat-getter.com. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your license key is emailed immediately after purchase and remains active as long as your subscription is active. You can cancel anytime from your account — no lock-in.

If you cancel, your pro features deactivate at the end of the billing period. The free version of Gravity Pipeline remains fully functional — your boards, data, and entries are never deleted. You can resubscribe at any time to re-enable Pro features.

Not at all. Gravity Pipeline works entirely inside the WordPress admin. Field mapping, role assignments, group setup, and notification triggers are all configured through UI — no code required.
